日和山ホテルとは／ ABOUT US

創業より70年が経つ木造旅館です。お茶目な初代がホテルと名乗ったため誤解を招き苦労しています。
2012年より３代目の私が経営を引き継いでから、お客様に喜んでいただけるために出来ることは何でもしようと、10年以上かけ毎年休まず施設の改装に努め、パンデミック対策から働き方改革など社会の要請に対応しながら、DX化や最新設備の導入を進めてまいりました。
外見はあまり手をつけていませんが、中に入ると昭和の香りとイノベイティブな空気が融合した空間が横たわっていて、ギャップ萌えwされるとおっしゃるお客様もいらっしゃいます。毎年いらっしゃる常連様からは「今度は何処が変わったの？」が挨拶になっていたりします。

これまであまり宣伝もせず、口コミや紹介によるご縁で支えていただきましたが、これからは、もっと多くの常連さんとの出会いを育み、ご意見を賜りながら、進化する日和山ホテルを一緒につくっていけたらと願っております。

３代目当主佐藤仁拝

We are a wooden ryokan with a 70-year history since our founding. Due to our mischievous founder calling it a "hotel," we've struggled with misunderstandings. Since I, the third-generation owner, took over the management in 2012, I've been striving to do everything possible to please our guests. For over 10 years, I've been renovating our facilities every year without fail, responding to societal demands from pandemic measures to work style reforms, while also advancing digitalization and introducing the latest equipment.

While we haven't changed much on the outside, once you step inside, you'll find a space where the essence of the Showa era blends with an innovative atmosphere. Some guests even say they experience a delightful "gap moe" (charming contrast). Our regular guests who visit every year often greet us by asking, "What's changed this time?"

Until now, we've relied little on advertising, instead being supported by word-of-mouth and referrals. Going forward, we hope to cultivate relationships with more regular guests and evolve Hiyoriyama Hotel together, guided by your opinions.

[Check-in Time Information]

🔲First-time Guests To maintain our staff efficiency and lowest regional prices, first-time guests must check in between 16:00 and 18:30 as a booking prerequisite. Once checked in and briefed on facility usage, guests may freely exit and enter with no curfew. Room access uses 6-digit numerical authentication instead of physical keys. *Guests may choose their own memorable number combination.

🔲Returning Guests For returning guests with prepaid reservations: This applies only to guests who fully understand the facility layout and usage guidelines, as our main goal is to minimize after-hours staff calls through our automated system. Room numbers and authentication codes will be sent by email, with no check-in time restrictions.

The purpose is to ensure smooth operation with minimal staffing, so only guests familiar with the property can take advantage of the flexible check-in option.

ＪＲ羽越本線酒田駅よりタクシーで５分。酒田市の無料観光自転車で10分（そのままチェックイン可能です）。　月・水・金だけ酒田駅から徒歩4分の最寄りバス停に市営バスがあります。酒田駅発時間　9：59 ／13：14 ／ 16：24 ／ 19：39　朝の酒田駅行きは　7：39 ／10：59 ／14：09 ／ 17：24　　南新町バス停と酒田駅までの所要時間は15～16分。

5 minutes by taxi from JR Uetsu Main Line Sakata Station. 10 minutes by Sakata City's free tourist bicycle (you can check in directly with the bicycle). On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only, there is a city bus from the nearest bus stop, which is a 4-minute walk from Sakata Station.

Bus departure times from Sakata Station: 9:59 / 13:14 / 16:24 / 19:39

Morning bus times to Sakata Station: 7:39 / 10:59 / 14:09 / 17:24

Travel time between Minami-shinmachi bus stop and Sakata Station is 15-16 minutes.

10月中旬より「OTAGAISAMA SHARE ROOM」運用開始しました。

「困った時はお互い様」という日本文化のベースに深く刻まれてきた、民族のDNAとも言える分ち合いの精神。
無縁社会がどんどん進行していく現代に抗い、ふたたび「結（ゆい）」の種火を灯しあえる場、関わりに溢れた場を築きたくて、「お互い様ルーム」の実現に向けこの5月に補助金にトライしました。8月無事採択を受け、9月に工事を進めてまいりました。

バイカー、チャリダー、日本一周チャレンジャー、観光地にはもう飽きて隠されたもう一つの日本を求める訪日外国人、旅をしながらリモートワークする人、もちろん一般の旅行者も、一期一会の出会いを心地よく想っていただける方々にご利用いただけましたら幸いです。

"OTAGAISAMA SHARE ROOM" Launched Mid-October

The spirit of "Otagaisama" - helping each other in times of need - is deeply woven into Japanese cultural DNA.
